The Museum Of Everything

On Thursday my college group went to London to the Museum Of Everything, an icredible collection of wonderfully random and scary things. These are the sketched I made there...all from observation. There was some seriously amazing taxidermy* there which I find more fascinating than creepy.

*The boxing squirrels are my favourite.

Some initial ideas sketches...these are quite old but I like them and I was having a riot with the scanner.

Some illustrations based on the same ideas as the installation, and using some of the photographs.

Finally finished My FIRST EVER knitted garment (in the complex form of a scarf)…and a lovely new bag*.

*That wonderful thing happened, you know when am item is already reduced and you think you’re getting a bargain then when you get to the counter the lovely old lady behind the till tells you there’s been a further reduction. What a lovely moment that was.

Installation In Margate

I took my self and my beautiful assistant to the windy shores of Margate yesterday to do this Installation about telecommunication. The idea is that we are all connected, and between any two phones is a connection which I believe is quite amazing, despite the negatives to mobile phones these days, the world is more connected now than it has ever been before making telecommunication a true icon of Modern Society.
